This is my first painting in three years.  I woke up this past Sunday with this idea in my head and didn't realize it had been so long since I've painted.  And with the help of some tutorials I found on YouTube I've deviated from my old technique of outlining everything in black lines. It helped! I had fun painting this one and it's the first one I didn't rush to finish in one day. The new techniques I watched and brush strokes helped me try something different and have fun doing it, especially the sky and lightning clouds.   No, I'm not in any kind of alcohol or drug rehab.  I'm in a personal, heart, overall issues related to....different personal thing "rehab" with continued therapy and staying home a lot until the semester starts next month.  My last semester in graduate school. I'm very happy with this painting .
